Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce (IPPW)
Prevention Personnel focus on non-clinical prevention of Domestic Abuse, Self-Directed Harm, Sexual Violence, and Workplace Violence, with the goal of stopping these harmful behaviors before they occur. IPPW works with commands to build healthy climates and create environments free from abuse and harm.
Mission:
Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce (IPPW) will work to increase the readiness of MONG communities by:
- Merging the paths of prevention and wellness.
- Strengthening protective factors and minimizing risk factors.
- Implementing comprehensive and evidence-based approaches/programming.
- Consistent pursuit in collaborations to bridge prevention and response efforts to prevent self-directed and interpersonal violence.
Vision:
The Missouri National Guard’s Integrated Primary Prevention Workforce will establish effective prevention frameworks that reduce violence within the Missouri National Guard.
